SCHOOL HISTORY
In 1992 to fulfill one of Bhavan’s primary objectives, i.e to impart value based education, Irinjalakuda Kendra established Bala Mandir and Vidya Mandir in its own campus spreading over 6.25 acres of land in Nadavarmba. Both these institutions have proved to be successful in maintain good performance all these years. The new building constructed on 70 cents of land owned by the Kendra in Irinjalakuda town is meant for the Bhavan’skenrda office and cultural centre. Both LKG and UKG classes are functioning here. In 2021 Kendra started “Bhavan’s Kids a pre K.G unit of Bhavan.
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Irinjalakuda is an English Medium 10+2 pattern CBSE(syllabus) school under Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Irinjalakuda Kendra, having its Head office in Mumbai. The school is built on a beautiful land scape at Nadavaramba. The serene surroundings are well suited to promote the academic excellence of student. School is trying to inculcate values, knowledge, culture and discipline.
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan was established by late Dr. K.M. Munshi in 1938 at Bombay with the main objective of reviving, propagating and popularising Indian culture, civilization and philosophy amongst our people. It is cosmopolitan in its nature and outlook, respects all religions, does not recognise barriers of caste, colour and religion and is open to all who cherish and believe in its principles and ideals
