Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Irinjalakuda did very well at CelestaZest 2K25, the intercollegiate Tech Fest at St. Joseph’s College, Irinjalakuda. Aalim Muhammed and Janina Jees won the First Prize in Web Designing. Pranav B Menon and Bhuvan Menon got the First Prize in Ideathon and Prompt Engineering, and Vaibhav Girish and Abhinav K won the Second Prize in Prompt Engineering. In the IT Quiz, Pranav B Menon and Abhinav K won the First Prize, Adithya Binoy and Badrinath Gopan the Third Prize, and Aalim Muhammed and Janina Jees the Fourth Prize. All winners received certificates.
Students of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Irinjalakuda won the first and second positions in the Science Quiz at Christ College of Engineering. Rajeev J Nair and Ananthajith Kavanad V of Class 11 secured first place, while Sivna Snosh and Unnimaya G Menon took second place.
Class 11 and 12 students for successfully completing data science and AI, and electronic courses at IIT Madras. This was an 8 week online course and we are proud to mention that our 37 students successfully earned these prestigious certificates given by IIT Madras.
Students of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Irinjalakuda won the Overall Trophy at Zephyrus 7.0 Techfest at Christ College, competing with UG and PG students. Ria Jaison and Jeny Joseph won first prize and Pranav B. Menon with Abhinav K. second prize in Paper & Idea Presentation. In Ideathon – Aetherion, Pranav B. Menon won first and Vaibhav Girish with Abhinav K. second. In Hardware Assembling, Abhinav K. and Dhanajay Shanavas Kuruppan won first, and Abhimanyu Sajith with Anaj K. R. second. All winners received certificates.
All Kerala Bhavan's Cultural Competitions for categories I & IV were conducted at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram Kendra on 13th September. More than 30 students participated in various competitions and secured good positions. In Category 4, Sreenidhi K. S. secured the second prize with an A grade in Gita Chanting, while Karthika Anil won the second prize in Bharatanatyam. Aditi Saju bagged the third prize with an A grade in English Recitation, and Aswathi K. S. won the fourth position with an A grade in Clay Modelling. 
All Kerala Interschool Table Tennis Championship by securing several prizes across different age categories. In the Under-11 Girls team event, Ishika T. Renjith and Shreya Renju, both from Class 3C, won the third prize. The Under-14 Girls team comprising Swastika K. S. of Class 7A and Krishnanjana Ramesh of Class 6C also secured the third prize. In the Under-17 Girls team event, Pournnami N. N. of Class 11CD and Niharika S. of Class 11B claimed the third prize, while the Under-19 Girls team featuring Ashrin Ashraf of Class 11B and Angel Maria Binoy of Class 12CD likewise won the third prize. In the Under-19 Boys team event, Hrishikesh Girish of Class 12A, Arshal K. S. of Class 11CD, and Navneeth P. K. of Class 11A secured the third prize
The Mathematics Department of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Irinjalakuda participated in Infinitum 25, a major quiz event hosted by Club Mathematicia, NIT Calicut. Two teams from the school reached the final round, and the school was honored with a Silver Award for its performance.

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir won the Best Chess School Award at the Thrissur District Interschool Chess Championship (Irinjalakuda, Kodungallur & Valappad Zone). Mridula T (Second Prize – U-16 Girls), Haya Fathima (First Prize – U-10), Rayan Joseph (Second Prize – U-10), Rithika (First Prize – U-8), Shiva E Nidhin (Second Prize – U-6) and Aadvik Rakesh (Third Prize – U-6) secured prizes, bringing laurels to the school.
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir won the district-level heritage quiz for the third consecutive year. Srihari C. Nair and K.S. Nandakishore emerged winners among 12 schools, with the Principal crediting their consistent excellence and teacher support.
The students of our school showcased exceptional talent at the Indoor Sahodaya competitions held at Sree Gokulam Public School, bringing home several accolades. In Badminton (Under 17 Boys), Sharan Isaac (9A) and Nandakrishna (10B) secured the 2nd Prize. In Table Tennis (Under 19 Boys), Hrishikesh Girish (12A) and Arshal K S (11CD) clinched the 1st Prize, while in Under 19 Girls, Angel Maria Binoy (12CD) and Ashrin Ashraf (11B) won the 3rd Prize. The Under 17 Boys category saw a 3rd Prize win by Chinmay Madanan (11CD) and Ridhikesh (8B), and in Under 17 Girls, Niharika S (11B) and Pournnami N N (11CD) also claimed the 3rd Prize. In the Under 14 Girls category, Shreya (3C) and Ishika (3C) achieved the 2nd Prize, while in Under 14 Boys, Ayaan V (7A) and Karthik Sunil (8B) earned the 3rd Prize.
Kartika Anil achieved a remarkable feat by securing First Position with an Outstanding Grade in Bharatanatyam at the All India Classical Dance Competition – Param, The Ultimate (Edition 6, 2025), organized by the All India Dancer’s Association (AIDA) in association with Ohm School of Dance. The event was held in Calicut, Kerala, from 25th to 27th July 2025, and showcased talented dancers across various categories.
She also emerged as the 2nd runner-up in the Under-9 category at the 32nd Don Bosco School All Kerala Open State Ranking and Inter-School Tournament held in Irinjalakuda.
Students of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Irinjalakuda delivered an impressive performance at the Cluster X Table Tennis Tournament held at JDT Islam School, Kozhikode. In the Under-17 category, Lakshmi V S (IX B) secured the third prize in singles and, along with Angel Tomy (IX B), also won third prize in the team event. In the Under-19 category, Hrishikesh Girish (XII A) clinched the first prize in singles and, together with Arshal K S (XI CD), won first prize in the team event. The Under-19 Girls' team comprising Navami Manoj (XII A) and Angel Maria Binoy (XII CD) secured second prize, while Navami also bagged the second prize in singles. Notably, Hrishikesh Girish, Arshal K S, and Navami Manoj have been selected for the Nationals, bringing great pride to the school.
Mithul Krishna of Class 3B secured the 4th position in the Under-9 Open Category of the All Kerala Open Chess Fest 2025, organized by Chess Thrissur in association with Sakthan Thampuran College of Mathematics & Arts.

Hari Kishan, a former student of Delhi Private School, Sharjah, and Class 12 student of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Irinjalakuda, secured the second rank in the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination (KEAM). He had earlier achieved 646th rank in JEE Advanced and scored 99.2% in Plus Two. After two years of coaching at Brilliant Study Centre, Thrissur, he now aspires to pursue a five-year dual degree in Electrical Engineering at IIT Mumbai

As part of the International Day Against Drug Abuse, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Irinjalakuda, organized Anti-Drug Awareness competitions under the theme “Anti-Drug Schools,” in collaboration with the School Protection Group and Thrissur Rural District Police. Events included Drawing and Speech competitions for students from Classes 5 to 12. The winners’ details were submitted to the District Police Headquarters through the SHO on June 23, 2025. A prize distribution ceremony was held at MCP Convention Center on June 28, in the presence of Hon. Dr. R. Bindu, Hon. Mr. Harishankar IPS, and Hon. Mr. B. Krishnakumar IPS.
