World Environment Day was celebrated at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Irinjalakuda, on June 5, 2025, with great enthusiasm. Organized by Class 10 under teacher guidance, the programme focused on the theme “Beat Plastic Pollution” and took place during the morning assembly in the school hall.

The event began with a warm welcome by student anchors, followed by a melodious welcome song by the choir. A thought-provoking speech by a Class 10 student emphasized environmental conservation and reducing plastic use.

Principal Sri Biju Gheevargheese highlighted the importance of sustainable practices, while Executive Vice Chairman Sri C. Nandakumar and Chairman Sri Appukuttan Nair appreciated the students' efforts and urged continued commitment to eco-initiatives.

The highlights included a thematic dance on "Mother Earth," an environment-themed group song, and a vibrant Eco-Fashion Show featuring outfits made from recycled materials.

The programme concluded with a pledge to protect nature. The celebration successfully raised awareness, sparked creativity, and inspired a spirit of environmental responsibility among all participants.
