As part of Swachchata Pakhwada and in connection with Swachh Bharat Divas, the NSS volunteers of Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Irinjalakuda, organized a campus cleaning drive on Saturday, 27th September 2025.
The programme began with an orientation session highlighting the importance of cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental responsibility. The Principal, in his address, stressed the role of students in realizing the vision of a clean India.
Following the session, NSS volunteers, along with teachers, actively cleaned various areas of the campus, including classrooms, corridors, open spaces, and the school garden. Plastic waste was collected, segregated, and disposed of properly, while plants were watered to enhance greenery.
It concluded with a pledge by all volunteers to uphold cleanliness in their daily lives and spread awareness of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan within the community.
