Sameeksha 2025 – In-House Cultural Competitions were held at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Irinjalakuda, on Friday, 1st August 2025, at the school’s Main Stage. The programme began with the Bhavan’s Anthem sung by the school choir, followed by a warm welcome address by Principal Sri. Biju Geevarghese. Chairman Sri. T. A. Nair delivered the Presidential Address, emphasizing the importance of cultural education alongside academics. The formal inauguration was performed by renowned film director Sri. Ambili, who lit the ceremonial lamp and inspired students with his inaugural address.
The event was further graced by the presence of Innocent Jr. Sonnet, cine artist, alumnus of the 2023 batch, and grandson of legendary actor Late Sri. Innocent, who addressed the gathering as the Special Guest, sharing his fond memories of Bhavan’s and motivating students to pursue their dreams with dedication. Heartfelt felicitations were offered by Shri. E. Ramankutty, Director of Bhavan’s Kerala Kendra, whose presence added prestige to the occasion, along with Executive Vice Chairman Sri. C. Nandakumar, Secretary Sri. Rajan, Ward Member Smt. Suprabha, and PTA President Smt. Rani Pradeepkumar. Vice Principal Smt. Sujatha P. proposed the Vote of Thanks.
The cultural competitions commenced at 10:00 AM with enthusiastic participation from students across all classes. The events showcased a variety of art forms, including music, dance, drama, and literary contests, providing a vibrant platform for young talents. Sameeksha 2025 proved to be a true celebration of creativity and expression, reaffirming the school’s commitment to nurturing holistic development and cultural excellence.
