A workshop on "Health Care in Karkkidakam" was organized at Irinjalakkuda Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan to introduce the invaluable traditional knowledge of cultural heritage to the new generation. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Indira Devi, Chief Physician of Sanjeevani Ayurveda Hospital. The workshop highlighted the importance of adapting healthcare practices to different seasons, the significance of specific plants as food and medicine, and other related topics, all led by Dr. Indira Devi.The workshop was graced by the presence of Chairman Shri C Surendran, Management Committee Members Shri Appukuttan Nair, Shri Vivekanandan, Smt. Anne Marie Charles, Principal Shri Biju Geevarghese, Vice Principal Smt. Shobha Sivanandarajan, and teachers.Students also performed a dance emphasizing the importance of ten flowers, and an exhibition showcased key medicines used during Karkkidakam, medicinal plants, and the ten flowers. The event was jointly coordinated by the Karkkidaka Month Celebration Committee and the school's Heritage Club. The program began with a welcome by teacher Smt. Snigdha and concluded with a vote of thanks by Smt. Sreeja Nandi.
