Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Irinjalakuda  is an English Medium 10+2 pattern CBSE (syllabus) School under Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Irinjalakuda Kendra, having its Head Office in Mumbai. Admission to Vidya Mandir
Admission is open to all.  Admission to Stds I and above, if seats are available, will be on merit, based on entrance tests.  The strength of students is limited to 42 per class.

School Hours
8.30 a.m.  to  3.40p.m.  with  30mts break for Lunch,  Reporting time
is 8.25 a.m.
School Uniform
Full Uniform is Compulsory for regular classes, special classes
& holiday sessions.
Boys – upto Std. V
Light blue shirts with half sleeves and one pocket.  Navy blue shorts with side pockets.  Loops not less than 5 cm. in length to be provided for belt.  Shirts should be sufficiently long to remain tucked – in throughout the day. Pocket should be on the left side of the shirt.
Only students above 145 cm in height shall wear navy blue full pants.
Std VI & above
As for the students above 145 cm.
Girls – upto Std V
Navy blue pinafore – Square neck (Front and back, Closed both sides)
Pleats two in front and two at the back with loops not less than 5 cm in length above each pleat for belt.
Girls – Stds. VI & VII
Navy blue pinafore – Square neck (Front and back, Closed both sides). Box pleats 2 in front and two at the back with loops not less than 5 cm in breadth above each pleat for belt. Length of pinafore 3 inches below the knee with knee length navy blue stockings and black shoes
Light blue shirt with half sleeves and  collar

Girls – Std. VIII and above
Navy Blue Shawl & Navy blue salwar.  Light blue kameez with collar neck (strictly follow the pattern prescribed by the school.) Plain sleeves one inch above the elbow (length of kameez  one inch below knee with slits at the sides)
General for Boys & Girls
Every Wednesday the shirt/blouse with shirt collar / and kameez alone shall be of blue and white check pattern.
The uniform cloth should be of the prescribed shades only
Cloth badge provided from the school should be stitched on the Uniforms and worn   regularly.
Boys must cut their hair short and Girls must tie their hair in two plaits neatly with black ribbon

Monsoon wear
Boys & Girls : Plain Black sandals with heel strap.

Syllabus : Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The school prepares students for the All India Secondary and  Senior School Certificate Examination.
